Matching Drop Down Question: Show which answers were matched correctly

Oct 19, 2022

Hello,

I am using a Matching Drop Down Question because it is more accessible than the drag-and-drop counterpart. However, I would like the learner to know which answers were matched correctly before they are given the option to try again so they know where to focus their review time. I do not see an obvious way to accomplish this as the review slide will only show ALL correct and incorrect answers. What is the best way to move forward. I need the question to be accessible and set up in a way that is a good use of the learners time. Thank you!

Hi Latoya Jackson! Only a custom-made matching drop down can accomplish this task and it gets  a bit chunky with the triggers that we need to create. You need to add multiple triggers in both correct/incorrect layers.

If you're really looking forward to let the learner to know which answers were matched correctly before moving on/try again, I request you to share the SL file with that matching dropdown slide, so that I can help you with that.
