Matrix Possibilities
Nov 18, 2013
No, I'm not referring to the moive
I work for a small medical records copying service which trains employees in correct release of information and HIPAA guidelines.
I'm attempting to set up a new training software and every LMS has told me that I would need to use a SCORM in order to make the type of activityquiz that I am attempting to make.
Matrix:
I'm trying to create a type of "table" in which all of the rows are a specific questions/scenario and all of the columns are specific cateogries of questions for that scenario. Right now I have a matric bulit like this:
# |
Patient Last Name, First |
DOB |
Requestor & Fax |
Your Client |
Category |
For Purpose Of |
Dates of Service |
Date of Signature |
DFT Flags or Notes on this file |
16 |
|
||||||||
17 |
|||||||||
18 |
|||||||||
19 |
|||||||||
20 |
|||||||||
21 |
|||||||||
22 |
Every box is a short answer, which I am currently grading by hand against a key. I would like to STOP THE MADDNESS and make something like this use Artiuclate (automated, preferably).
Is this possible? Has anyone else seen/made something like this with Articulate or another program?
Thanks!

Hi Rachel and welcome to Heroes!
Currently Storyline doesn't support the creation of tables, as you'll see described here. An option might be to use the method of creating this as a Google spreadsheet and inserting that as a Web object...but you'd still have to do some manual scoring.
Also, the built in functionality for questions is one question per slide, although you'll see Michael has created an example with multiple text entries on one slide which you may be able to modify to fit your needs.
