Medical lectures for physicians

May 05, 2017

I am looking for pretty templates for medical lectures. Not lectures about medicine with a "doc-and-stethoscope-around-the-neck", but lectures with large amount of content for an audience with little spare time. I used to write in Macromedia (now Adobe) Director, but it does not export to multiple platforms and is date. This is the kind of content I would like to make in Storyline

Anyone has done something similar ? How about narration in multiple languages? Minimizing menus to preserve real estate? I would greatly appreciate example to get a better feel for new designs.

THANKS !

Hi Phillippe,

I'm not really sure from your description what you are really looking for. But Storyline is very versatile, and provides you with many options to create the type of presentation that you need.

You can easily turn off Storyline's menu to save that screen real estate, and can even turn off the tabs across the top, as well as the play bar area if you want. Or if you need the menu without taking up all of that real estate, just make the menu a tab on the top. It will open when needed, but otherwise leave the screen free.

You can easily provide a selection for multiple languages using the different scenes, or by using layers. The only issue here might be if you want to provide quizzes in multiple languages. Storyline, like most of these packages only allows you to export the values of one quiz to an LMS, and it isn't selectable at run-time.

If you have a video of your lectures, you might want to just import the entire video onto a slide, and let it play through. Or what I like even better, you can divide your video up into bite size chunks, and distribute them across several slides. This allows your audience to take a breather before forging ahead into the next section.
