If you are using SL2 the answer is yes. Go to Player Settings and click on Colors & Effects. The last drop down allows you to choose a font and below that the font size. The size is determined by percentage so you have to play with it to get what you want.
in SL1, if I remember correctly, you can only choose the font. In some cases a font you select might be an oversized font that comes out on the player looking bigger. To actually change the size of the font I believe you have to edit one of the .css files after publishing your story.
I'm not very good with css but plenty of others on this forum are and maybe they can chime in.
Thank you Rick. Your suggestion give me an idea how to change the font-size through css but it only work for an IPAD because for desktop version swf launcher embedded the all slides.
For IPAD version we need to edit on player.css, line no 1479 and the element is "ul.slidelist li"
