menu in player

May 08, 2013

Hey there,

I have a problem, hope someone can help.

It is about the menu structure in the player.

I have a menu structure that looks like this:

1.

1.1

1.2

2.

2.1

2.2

3.

3.1

.....and so on

each chapter is a scene, just as usual.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, my chapter 3 only has one item (slide).

So the structure looks like this:

3. Zusammenfasusng (summary)

3.1 Zusammenfasusng (summary)

This is confusing and doesn´t look nice for the learner, beacause the same text is diplayed in 3. and 3.1 and the learner might think that there are 2 slides although there´s just one.

So, is there a way to display my slide when the user clicks on 3.?

i only need the menu entry 3.zusammnefasung- with the silde and not the list item 3.1.

I hope you understand ehat I mean and are able to help me.

Thanks a lot, best wishes!

Hi Natalie,

How about this?

  1. Go into the Player (from the Home tab, in the Publish group, click Player).
  2. At the top, click the Menu button (in the Data group)
  3. Click 3. Zusammenfasusng (summary) to select it.
  4. Click the delete heading button (red X near the bottom)
  5. You'll see a prompt asking if you want to keep the item's children. Click Keep.

Now, you'll just have 3.1 Zusammenfasusng (summary)
