Menu numbering

Just wondering if there was any way to have the menu numbering start at a number other than 1?

I am working on a course that is comprised of several sections with a number of lessons within each section.  Example: 

Section 1 - Lesson 1

Section 1 - Lesson 2

Up until now, we have been publishing each section as one file and the menu numbering works great.  All of Lesson 1 is listed in the menu beginning with 1 (ex. 1-1, 1-2, etc.)  Then, Lesson 2 is listed in the menu as beginning with 2 (ex. 2-1, 2-2, etc.)

However, we are finding for development and rollout in our LMS that we would rather publish each lesson separately.  This means that every lesson now has the exact same numbering (which is 1).

Is there any work around for this.  Maybe I could trick Storyline with some variable or something?  Or is my only option to turn off the numbering in the menu?
