With respects to your first issue, would you be able to share your .story file so we can run some testing on our end, please? And also, can you ensure that you are working locally, but testing the published output in the intended environment?
And for your second issue, have you had an opportunity to review this information on Articulate Storyline 2 SDK? The Articulate Storyline 2 software development kit (SDK) is a free download that currently supports custom player frames for Flash content.
