Hi,
I'm new to Storyline 2 and over a period of 2 weeks I managed to successfully publish a very good presentation for a novice. Needless to say I saved my presentation numerous times over the 2 week period. I submitted my presentation for review to my piers and got very constructive feedback. However, now that I want to tweak my presentation according to the feedback from my piers, my presentation is missing in SL! Please help!

Hi Carla. Why does this stuff always happen at the last minute? :/
Are you able to locate your presentation in your File Explorer at all? The default save location for Articulate files is on your local hard drive > Documents > My Articulate Projects. If you don't see your project there, what happens if you do a search on your C: drive in File Explorer? Or even just for ".story" ?
If the above fails, you can also try to locate a temporary version of your file by following these steps:
Hi,
Thank you so much for your quick response. I did manage to locate the zipped folder and copied it to my folder - Documents > Aritculate Projects, but unfortunately I am not able to open it Storyline. I have tried every possible way..... unzipping the folder and importing the separate files, but to no avail. I am sure this is not a system issue, but an operator issue. :( Please can you assist?
Many thanks
Carla

Hi Carla. It sounds like you've found the published output folder of your course, which is created after you've published your course; the title of the folder would read "your course name - storyline output." Unfortunately, you cannot open those file in Storyline as they are the finished product and in a different format. You would want to locate the source file that ends in .story. If you do a search in File Explorer and are unable to find any ".story" files, I'm not sure what else I could recommend. Not what you want to hear, I'm sure.
Hi Crystal,
I managed to find the .story file and all sorted......great learning curve, will definitely not make the same mistake! :)
Thanks for the assistance, much appreciated.
Regards,
Carla
