Mobile Learning with Storyline - anyone has experience?

Sep 01, 2016

Dear collegues,

I am looking for a robust tool for developing  learning solutions for mobile phones (mainly iPhones).

Google offers me controversial feedbacks on Storyline vs Captivate vs iSpring etc. in this context.

Has any of you developed a project to be used *only* on smartphones? Is the published course dependant on special player-App? If it is, can I rely on robustness and stability of the player-App, so that learners' experience won't be destroyed by the player's flaws?

What limitations (visual appearance, performance etc.) are there?

For example, iSpring claims that " The created content doesn’t adapt to mobile devices (it is displayed the same way as on desktop only scaled down", (link: http://www.ispringsolutions.com/blog/adobe-captivate-9-vs-articulate-storyline-2-vs-ispring-suite-8-1/)

But as they have their own product, might they be biased?
What do you think?
Thank you very much!

Hi Ira,

I'll let the community weigh in on their expertise for mobile and the differences between us and others, but I did want to share these resources in case they were helpful to the overall discussion and ways in which you could look at implementing mobile:
