With the along awaited animation effect as Motion Paths, there a few things that were left on the cutting room floor. XY coordinates is or 'position' of the end path object is one.
Hi Kevin, yes thanks for that... I've submitted a feature request.
Hi Ashley,
Showing the coordinates of the end position of an motion paved object would enable seamless positioning of interactive objects across multiple slides.... I currently achieve this by toggling between the (end preview of an object) and a (pasted copy) on the next slide, this copy is then positioned using the control + arrow keys.
This method is not too hard to do but it would great to be able to view a coordinate that already exits within the program.... perhaps a context sensitive option within the position properties?
Fingers crossed that there enough requests for this feature to be included in a future release.
If you don't mind using a couple of temporary shapes, you can copy / paste some "jigs" between slides to snap align your motion path endings and beginnings. You'll get the horizontal and vertical align marks when it's close to the corner.
@Steve & Diana - Thanks for sharing the "Jigs" method/s, although I'm getting freakishly proficient with my toggle trick this looks like an easier (and ultimately more precise) way of doing things.
@Diana - thanks for also submitting this feature request, here's hoping for more:)
Thanks Mark for letting us know how you're able to set this up - and the more feature requests the better as then our team is able to keep track of how many users would like a particular feature.
It's a little late but I just discovered another work around while trying to match the position of an image that I had moved with an animation. If you publish your project and take a full scale screen shot you'll replicate your image in perfect position. Just crop the screen shot to the resolution you are using and use transparent fill with a .png to remove content you don't want.

The more folks suggest this as a feature request for the next version, the better. Here's the link > http://www.articulate.com/support/contact/submit.php?form=feature
Hi Mark,
You can also see the elements you can edit and manipulate in terms of motion paths detailed here.

Thanks for sending the request - I can definitely see this being a great thing to add, so I hope a lot of requests come in too!
I'm doing a project with a LOT of motion paths, so I also submitted a request. Fingers crossed!

Not perfect but it seems to work.
@Steve - that's exactly what I did... which helped since I have a couple slides with 50+ objects on each that follow diffeent motion paths. :-)
Drawing a line the length and direction of your motion path can also help.

Thanks Ashley... I think you should also submit a feature request;)
I suspect mine may just be ignored :-)

Hi Elliot,
Never to late to share an additional idea here! Thanks for popping in.
Thanks Diana Myers
