Motion Paths for Hotspots don't activate until hotspot returns to original position

Hi guys, the problem is basically in the title. I have objects on motion paths, tracked by a hotspot. You can only interact with the hotspot when it reaches its original position thereby rendering the game not fully functional and a little frustrating.....   Any ideas?

Do you happen to have a file you would be able to share here that might help illustrate the behavior you are describing?
