I wanted to create a scene where learners can drag/manipulate objects free to construct a diagram. They would be shown the shapes and arrows and they would drag them and piece it together to create the chart. Its not really drag and drop so I cant seem to find a way to achieve this.
Create a Drag & Drop slide (New Slide > Freeform Question > Drag and Drop)
Add your objects to the slide
In Form view (on the right hand pane) add the objects you would like to be draggable (you do not need to specify Drop Targets, just leave them as 'None')
Go back into Slide view, right click each of the drag objects, and under the Drag and Drop rollout, untick Drag Return
Now when you drag objects around they will stay where they are. :)

Hi Raziya, the quickest way is to:

Hello! This is a nice suggestion! Could you also link associated numbers of /values of coordinate parameters in a window, while moving the object?
Thank you!
Best! Andreas
I did this, but my text box is not dragging in preview. The cursor changes to the hand on hover, but the box won't move.
