Multiple right answers in "pick many"
Nov 25, 2014
Hi guys, hope you can help me
In my project i have a "pick many" free form slide and on it I want the user to click on 4 balloons out of 5. That works fine, but the tricky part is that the user should be able to select balloon 1, 2, 3, 5 and still get a correct answer.
I've done it with the help of "true/false" slide where the radio button change when the user click on submit if 1, 2, 3, 4 is selected, or if 1, 2, 3, 5 is selected and so on. And it works fine, as long that the amount of different correct answers isn't too many, because then it gets a bit much to do 30 different exercise in this way...
Does anyone have a smarter/easier/faster way to do this?
I have attached a storyline file with 3 slides, the two first one works fine, but in the 3 slide I haven't even finished all the triggers yet... the amount of possibilities is just to many! A.k.a. the reason for this question ;)

Hi Kim,
Couldn't you set up a balloon counter ?
Use a variable (nbBalloons), set it to 0 when slide starts and add 1 on each balloon click (you should only be able to click once on the balloons).
When the user clicks submit, check if nbBalloons = 4 or whatever the number of selected balloons must be.
Hope this helps.
Hi Pierre
Thank you for your response, I actually figure it out in a similar way.
I've put the trigger on the submit button, so when a user clicks on the submit button it gives 1 additional point to the variable "summa" for every selected object :)
Thanks for sharing your solution Kim :)
