Multiple fill in the blank with specific words for each fill

Jul 01, 2020

Hi, I watched the tutorial and read through the discussions but the tutorial and discussion seems to be for another version. I've created a multiple fill in the blanks form using several free form questions and pasting them into the form. The problem is that the original form which was selected from graded questions accepts any of the correct answers and lets the participant to progress to the next slide without having completed the whole activity. I would appreciate your help.

Hi Shirin, I don't think it can be used that way. What you are doing by entering text into A, B, C etc is defining all possible answers for the text input (the first text input) that is part of the activity. The other text boxes are not being evaluated as they are not part of the activity.

You might want to look at the Matching Drop-down as a solution. You can place the drop-downs in the gaps within the text as well, and so it works quite well in this instance, although you are providing the user with the possible answers.

You could still build what you want to with the method you are currently using but I believe it would have to be a custom build, and you would have to add triggers to check the values of each of the text fields in order to determine if the users is correct/incorrect.
