Multiple (pop-up) graded questions on a single slide

Jan 26, 2022

Hi everyone,

I am trying to create something similar to this project example:

https://www.commlabindia.com/sample-courses/articulate-storyline-360/food-safety-practices-01/story_html5.html?lms=1

I am a newbie to Storyline, so I am struggling to achieve the following:

Multiple hovering effects over designated areas of the slide. Then when the user clicks on a designated area on the slide, a graded question pops up. I want to create multiple graded pop-up questions on a single slide (as seen in above mentioned example), but I am struggling to achieve this. If I try to create freeform questions on multiple layers with radio buttons, the pop-up elements are not picked up in order to create button sets that can be recognized for the grading purposes. Any suggestions on how to create multiple graded pop-up questions on a single slide? What am I missing?

Hi, Larissa,

With regular and freeform graded questions, only 1 question can be on a slide. The question and responses are on the base, and the feedback is shown on the Correct and Incorrect layers.

It's hard to tell without seeing the source file of the project you linked to, but I'd guess that it uses custom variables, conditions, and states to create a question layer for each hazard. Or they might use multiple layers for each hazard (e.g., start, correct, and incorrect).
