Multiple Response quiz slide issue
Jun 07, 2016
Hi,
I have a Multiple Response quiz slide with a custom Submit button.
My issue is that there doesn't seem to be an 'unselected' state of the check boxes, so I can't program the logic to show the Incorrect layer if one of the check boxes that needs to be checked isn't. I tried applying the logic if the check box was 'normal' and 'disabled', but neither worked.
I've built a simple example that shows what I'm describing.
Please help!
Thanks,
Mark

Ok, as usual I figured out a solution right after I posted this.
It requires creating a boolean for each check box and then checking that.
What a pain! Articulate developers, please add an 'unselected' state to your checkboxes!
Attached is a functional prototype.

Hi Mark!
I'm not sure I'm understanding the issue or need you are reporting here. I took a look at the slide you used an duplicated it so that I could then use he built in options/layers for this question type. You can see I have the same look and result without the additional triggers on your slide.
Instead of unselected you could add a condition of not equal to selected
Hey Phil and Mayor,
Thanks for your responses, but I found a solution and posted it in the first reply.
Thanks!
It is probably better practice to avoid variables wherever possible
