Music Background

Nov 16, 2017

Hello everybody,

There is a simple way to have a background music playing all long a storyline presentation with Articulate 360 ?

Hi there, Louis-Philippe! The current design for Storyline is to have audio on each slide, independently.

But check out this discussion about having audio play in the background throughout the course.  It's an unsupported workaround, but maybe it will help achieve what you need!  If you have any questions about that process, you can post in that discussion, or contact any of the users with the Contact Me button in their profile.

Hi Louis-Philippe,

Great question - it's been a talked about idea here in the E-Learning Heroes community, but hasn't yet made our roadmap for features. We love to hear more from users who are looking to see particular features, so if you have other specifics feel free to share them here or send along to our team  right here. 😁  Also, in case your curious how features get made, take a look at this article.

Hello,

I am doing an evaluation of Articulate 360 as compared to Captivate.  I have overall been VERY impressed with the ease of use and ability to do pretty much anything I want in Storyline.  However, I am currently playing with a self-timed project (no user clicks) to produce a short video. One feature I just assumed would be there is to spread a music track across the background of the half dozen slides.  No?  Really?  I may not be a paying customer--yet--but I would recommend adding the background audio, perhaps with "ducking", to your feature set.

Welcome to the community, Don!

Thanks for checking out Articulate 360 -- there's a lot to love! We've seen lots of similar requests, and we're keeping our eye on them as we consider new features to add to Storyline 360. I really appreciate you adding your voice and letting us know this feature is important to you.

If we do release this feature, we'll let you know about it!
