Need help on JavaScript

Please guys can you please help me with a javascript that can be used in the articulate storyline 2 that when you have 2 textbox that ask for the name and email and you have 1 finish button, when you click on the finish button it will create a notepad file in certain location that you will declare and input the name and email that the user enters. every time a user puts in the data, all the names and emails will be stored in that one single notepad file.
Here is the sample code however it is not working in the articulate storyline 2. please help.

Ok- this may be a dumb question - but you doing this in IE right?
If memory serves correctly...ActiveXObject are only supported in Internet Explorer.
