Need help with Recording Screens in Storyline 360

I can record my screen with no issues but when it goes to save I get a message that it's 100% saved but it just sits there for 15 minutes.  Then I get to the Insert Slides portion and that takes another 15 minutes to load what I've done.   Does anyone out there know how to fix this?  My co-worker does this same thing and her system works very fast.   I've tried uninstalling Articulate 360 and reinstalling it; I've rebooted my computer; I've made sure I'm connected to our internet and not on wifi;     I've run out of options.   Hoping someone out there has some suggestions for fixing this issue for me.  Thanks!

Hi Shari!

I'm so sorry this has been so time-consuming! I'm happy to help nail down what would be causing this.

First, how long are the screen recordings that you're adding? 

Secondly, have you tried starting a new project and adding a screen recording to a fresh project?

Lastly, which version of Storyline are you using?

My screen recording is very short. I'm just doing a test and it's maybe 30
seconds long.

I am using Storyline 360 version.

 

 

 

My co-worker and I have the same memory capacity on our laptops and things
are working great for her.

 

 

 

I'm not sure if it's something related locally to my laptop? I'm having my
internal IT guy help look at that as well. Tomorrow he is going to work
with me again.

 

 

 

I'm having a separate issue on my home laptop. I have two work laptops. one
for the office and one for my home office as I work from home certain days.
Anyway, on my home laptop, I was getting a "No Internet Connection" error
message on Friday.

 

I researched and saw that this could be an issue on the Artiucalte side. I
was definitely connected wirelessly to the internet and was able to use the
internet, just not with Articulate.

 

 

 

I should mention, at work, in the office I am connected to the internet via
Ethernet cable. But, last week my co-worker was using her laptop and was on
wireless and her screen recordings were working perfectly.

 

 

 

Very strange issues I'm having.
