Hi everyone. I've seen a few threads where people are querying why sequence drag and drops are sometimes presented in the right order. I get that with only four responses in my sequence drag and drop, the odds are 1 in 16 (I think!) that the right order comes up. I think it would be a useful feature if the correct answer was removed from the potential order at the start of the question, so I'll make a feature request in due course. UPDATE - feature request made!
However, in the meantime, when the correct sequence does come up and a candidate recognises this and simply presses submit, the response gets recorded as 'neutral' when reporting back via SCORM 1.2. The response is only recorded as correct if a candidate moves one of the boxes, which obviously they don't usually do if the answer is already correct!
Is there a workaround for this, aside from the rather clumsy and confusing instruction, 'You must move one of the boxes in order for your answer to register.'?
Hi Andrew! I'm not aware of another way around this. Perhaps someone in the community has come up with a more creative way that they will be able to pop in and share. By default, Storyline treats this as not being answered vs incorrect/correct since there is no action or selection made.
