I am new to Storyline 2 (previously used Studio 09) and my communications department is having difficulties posting to the web. We get an error from the web server stating the file names are too long. When we look at these files, they appear to be animations. Since I don't name those, I don't know what I should do to resolve. Any ideas would be very much appreciated!
You can read about file names and file paths here - and it's definitely something you'll want to consider in terms of where you're saving to also confirm you're working locally. Working on a network drive or an external (USB) drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources.
I have to put files on our network because we are subject to public records requests... hmm... maybe I can keep the files in two places... interesting.
I guess the picture animation files are too long for the web server, but I don't know how to fix that now.
