I'm having trouble getting from one slide to the next, as it takes a very long time from you click the next-button till the next slide shows (up to 10 minutes). I'm using the Restricted menu setting, as I need my students to go through every slide without being able to fast forward some topics. Any suggestions?
Sounds like you may need to have a peek at the length of your timeline and make some adjustments there for each slide. If you're using the Restricted menu the Next button wont become enabled until the learner has viewed all the content on the slide/the entire timeline. If you shorten the timeline, the Next button should become available sooner. Hope this helps!
I understand that, but it takes a very long time after the learner has viewed the entire timeline to the next slide shows. The next button is active and clickable, but nothing happens before after 10 seconds to 10 minutes...

I would echo what Nicole says, have you checked that the timeline is pulled back to the end of your audio or animations?
Perhaps you could post an individual slide that has the problems.
