I have no idea why I can't set transitions for different objects/layers within one scene. When I navigate to the transitions tab, it immediately tells me that the transitions are for the entire scene. So, naturally, when I tried it out, it affected the entire slide/scene. I don't know why Articulate is making it more complicated than it should be. Is there any way to just affect one particular layer??

Were you in the story view? Try it with a slide open in slide view, and the layer open.
