I just started using Storyline and created a course. If I click on the "story.html" file on my desktop it asks if I want to resume. But in my LMS when I call the 'index_lms.html' file it does not prompt me to resume. Also, if I click on "index_lms.html" on my desktop it does not prompt me to resume.
For my output options I selected LMS: AICC. I just changed the call in LMS to story.html and it does resume properly, but says that the course has not been tried and will not mark it as passed.
I saw another user on this site said he was having this same problem on June 3 and it does not look like it was resolved. I need to get this resolved before my training team can start creating courses in Storyline, because they need to be taken in our LMS.

Not sure if your LMS is SCORM compliant, but have you tried SCORM?
Angela, I'm not sure what LMS you are using, but it's possible that it doesn't support bookmarking or maybe it doesn't fully support AICC (ours doesn't).
In any case, if you go to your player settings, you can adjust the resume functionality. By default it is set to ignore storyline's flash cookie if you're running in an LMS, but if your LMS doesn't fully support bookmarking you may try unchecking this box and see if that makes a difference.
Courses that are Scorm run really slow in my LMS. I did try it that way and it works, but I would much rather publish it as AICC. Articulate Presenter always worked great when I published it as AICC.
Is this a known issue? Are they working to resolve it?
I have changed all of those settings and uploaded each time to our LMS to test it (yesterday) and it still does not resume when I call the index_lms.html file. It did when I published to LMS: AICC from Articulate Presenter.
I would suggest opening an incident with Articulate support if you haven't already, as they may be able to give you specific assistance with the LMS you're using. Sorry I can't be of more help!
This thread is a bit older, and looking at Angela's case she was using Update 1 for Storyline and we're now on Update 4. Can you let us know which version of Storyline you're using and some more information about what you're experiencing?

Do you know how I would create an incident? Thanks for your help.
Sure, here's the link to contact support - http://www.articulate.com/support/contact/
There are several options for support listed on the page. Most often I just go with the top option and submit a case.
Hello, I am having this issue for an AICC training as well. Was there an answer found?

If you're content is not resuming properly, you may want to review this article for troubleshooting steps. Additionally, I'd suggest testing your content within SCORM Cloud, and these directions detail how to test AICC content there.
