I am building a drag and drop slide where the user will have to open and read email messages and sort them to "keep" or "trash" . My buttons will represent emails so I want to add a red dot to the normal state to make it look like an unread email with a notification. But my buttons in the button set are not functioning properly. The red dot stays there in every state even though it's not present in the selected and visited states. How to fix this please? I attached the project file.
I'm so sorry you've hit this snag and I'm happy to help troubleshoot. I tested your file, and I was able to replicate this issue, even after importing the course into a new Storyline file. In the meantime, we found a quick fix which is to create a custom layer that displays the mail and button without the red dot. Please see button 3 in this example to see how it's set up!
