Not completing on LMS but does with Captivate
Jan 28, 2013
Hello
When I upload my course and run it, it does not complete on our LMS. When I do exactly the same with Captivate and publish the course it does complete!
My LMS (McKesson) (oracle) only accepts SCORM 1.2. My Scorm file must be one level below the course. My PC has been checked and is talkining to the LMS correctly (API Check done)
I notice the SCORM files Captivate produces are:
A folder called SCORM_support . . in that folder is:
scorm_support.html
scorm_support (JScript Script File)
scorm_support (Shockwave Flash Object)
The lms files produced by Storyline are:
AICCComm (HTML Document)
APIConstants (JScript Script File)
Configuration (JScript Script File)
NONEFunctions (JScript Script File)
UtilityFunctions (JScript Script File)
AICCFunctions (JScript Script File)
blank (HTML Document)
goodbye (HTML Document)
SCORM2004Functions (JScript Script File)
lms (JScript Script File)
API (JScript Script File)
browsersniff (JScript Script File)
LMSAPI (JScript Script File)
SCORMFunctions (JScript Script File)
Panicking don't want to go back to Captivate . . .HELP!

Hi Ken!
Would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate-related or if it's on your LMS's side? If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team. The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.
Let us know what you come back with. Thanks!
Hi Peter
I saw you suggested using SCORM-Cloud to another user so I did the same and my course does complete on SCORM_cloud. Our LMS team is err me and I don't have a clue. As I say if I revert back to Captivate it works fine but Captivate outputs the folder SCORM_support where Storyline outputs an lms folder could it be this and is there away to change the output folders.

Hey Ken!
A one-man LMS team - impressive
If you'd like to send this into one of our resident LMS experts, please feel welcome to do so. I'm sure they'll have some good advice for you.
