Is there a way for Storyline to only show the notes for specific slide layers when that layer is activated and not show the notes from the master slide and all the slide layers associated with it?
Currently it is not possible to show different notes in the notes tab depending on what layer you are on. You could submit this as a feature request as it is rather problematic.
You could try using an onscreen scrolling panel instead as a workaround.
