Using storyline 3....I have added my notes tab to the top right of my course. When I open the published file, the notes are not displaying. When you click the notes tab, they appear BEHIND the slide. Is there any fix for this? See attachment.

Based on the image above, it looks like you are running into an issue we have reported to our team.
The good news is, you can work around it by setting the player to 'lock player at optimal size' until the next update to Storyline 3. This has already been corrected in Storyline 360.
Even better news today - Storyline 3, build 3.6.18134.0 is live and includes a fix for the issue you're running into. You can download the update from this page and once you install and republish your courses with it you should see the fix.
