Numbering Slides

I can't for the life of me figure out how to number the slides, to include quiz slides. I want to run a beta test with some users in the field and receive feedback based on their input for each slide. the only work around i can figure out is to use a numbered excel spread sheet, but because I have multiple layers on many of the slides, I'm sure the feedback would be time consuming because I have to surf through trying to figure out exactly which slide they are talking about. Do I do it in the player? I'm new to this, need help.
Thanks

Hello Mike, welcome to Heroes!
Probably the easiest way for you to do to this would be to turn on the player menu for your review, which will show your beta testers which slide (with slide number) they're viewing. Here's some tips for using the player menu (storyline 2)http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/customizing-the-menu-in-articulate-storyline-2.aspx
If you're using SL1, here is a similar set of tips -http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/customizing-the-player-menu.aspx
