Numeric Entry Numbers

I have many Numeric Entry fields in my project. I renamed them to identify what they correspond to (Math Point Total, ELA Point Total, etc.). On the timeline, every one is just identified as "Numeric Entry".  I need to create a cumulative total from certain entries. When I create a trigger, it does not show the names; it only shows NumericEntry1, NumericEntry2, etc. How do I figure out what the number is for the Numeric Entry field?
