slide advances when closing layer after tabbing to button.

Hi, when previewing my project, whenever I try to return to the base layer by clicking on a button after I have tabbed to the button, the project advances to the next slide instead. When I click on the button first with the mouse, then the screen reader can successfully return to the base layer. I have tried to isolate what is causing this by checking my triggers, timeline, focus order, etc., but to no avail. It has also happened in another project.

Edit: I found an alternative way to display the information by using a change of state for my buttons (and adding in the content to the selected state) instead of layers.
