I have a normal non-quiz slide. One of the objects is set to show a layer when it is dropped on a picture. It works perfectly except that it snaps to the middle instead of staying where I put it. How can I fix this?
I was wondering how to help you and found a solution by a total experiment.
I've created two objects on non-quiz slide. When the arrow is dropped on the rectangle a layer with a text is shown and the arrow was actually snapped to the center (let's call it a starting solution). So I converted it to free form drag and drop interaction with an option "snap dropped items to drop target" unticked.
Then I previewed the interaction and I've undone the changes (so I got back to the starting solution I mentioned above).
After this magic the arrow isn't snapped to the center of the rectangle..it stays when it was placed...so it's a as you want to have it

See the attached example.
Thanks for your help Joanna! This is exactly what I want it to do.
Where do I find the "snap dropped items to drop target" option?
Got it, thanks!
