A newbie question for you. Is there a way of controlling an objects properties dynamically in run-time? I want to move the x and y position of a graphic image with up, down, left and right trigger buttons. Any help would be most appreciated.
I want to do this too! any ideas would be great - right now the only idea I have is to trigger a variable, and tie the variable to a "button state" of the object I'm trying to move - but since I want to control in 4 directions, that might be really hard...
Hi Meg. I'm afraid yours is the first and only response I received to my query posted back in Feb 12. I went along the same lines as you suggest but in the end I wrote a small routine in ActionScript 3 and hoisted that into SL. Hopefully the bright sparks in Articulate will consider adding this facility into the next release of Storyline
I would have also suggested a method similar to what Meg described, but if it's a feature you'd like to see in future versions of Storyline I'd ask for you to share your thoughts in the form of a feature request. Those go to our product development team and really assist them in thinking about what to include in the future.

Hi Dennis and Meg,
I would have also suggested a method similar to what Meg described, but if it's a feature you'd like to see in future versions of Storyline I'd ask for you to share your thoughts in the form of a feature request.
