Object Trigger Question

Hi - I am creating my second course in Articulate. I know this feature worked properly for me on the last one. I need to have two slides have a link to a pdf document. I have created an Object Trigger - URL/File and click on the file I want. First off - when I check it - it doesn't open the file itself but takes me to the folder containing it. Then when I publish it tells me it is not a folder or directory?? However - under the Resources it is there and if I click on it from there then it works without issue?? I don't know what to do. I tried making it a hotspot and doing it that way but get the same issue. I'm thinking it is a network issue here at work but not sure? Any ideas?
