OK I'm Stuck! - Need Help Please

Hi Everyone,

 

This is very urgent request for any help in resolving a glitch. I'm very much hoping someone in the community can diagnose/and help resolve the problem.

 

I'm trying to get an interaction to work on a Compliance Training course. I'm trying to get the state of a button to change to a green tick once users have completed a section of the course. This interaction works already in other sections of the course, however I have been asked to add another section in the same way.

 

So the process I followed is:

 

1.  Copied one of the existing working slides, removing the content I don't need, while changing the text.
2.  I'm left with, a box shape which has a white circle at the top (which should change to green tick in the circle, once user has completed the quiz questions. A button at the foot of the  'Open Quiz', which leads to two slides of MCQs
3. The trigger I have used on this main slide, but changed name for the object on this slide (oval 7) and used a new variable (DP) is:
4. Change state of "Oval 7 - "to Complete When the timeline starts If DP is equal to True
5. The Correct and Incorrect layers on the the last question slide have the trigger:  'Set DP equal to True When the Timeline starts'

I'm merely using the logic, as far as I can tell from the other sections that work already and applied them to this new section, but when running the course the main slide in this section shows the button state with a green tick before even taking the quiz!. I have checked initial state of the button (oval) to be normal, which is without the green tick. Green tick is the ('complete' state).

 

I have spend a lot of time trying to resolve this but, not able to unravel the mystery. Can anyone please help?
