Option to Replay entire Presentation

Oct 30, 2013

I would like to have an option on the last slide of my presentation, so that if the viewer would like to replay

from the beginning, all they need to do is click a button.

How can I do this?  I am brand new to Articulate and just learning to navigate through and create

slides.

Thanks,

Michele

Hi Michele,

You could set a button up on the last slide (label it Replay or similiar) that has a trigger for when the user clicks it will bring them back to the first slide (you can pick which slide you designate as your "first" from within the trigger drop down). If you want all the elements to work as it's the first time through - you can either set the slides to "Reset to initial state" on revisiting - or create a T/F variable that when the user clicks the "Replay" button changes the variable from the initial state of False to True, and you'd need to set conditions for each slide on what to reset (such as quizzes, etc.) if the variable is True. The first option is probably the "easier" option, but if you're interested in exploring variables, I'd suggest starting with this tutorial.
