After a recent laptop conversion at my company, I realized that the original articulate storyline file for a course I had built is gone. I have the final output and the zipped SCORM 1.2 files. But some updates need to be made to the course, and now I have no file to access.
Do I have any way of backing my way out of the Final Output or SCORM files to make updates?
Our tech team says my old laptop has already been scrubbed clean.
Unfortunately, you can't do much with the output files. The only way to edit your old story is to get your source file back using a recovery app on the old laptop.
This is exactly what happened to me :(... Thank you Alexandros for your reply... It looks like I will have to start from scratch :(((... Rose Sheldon, If you find out something different can you please share...I have already contacted Articulate support and am waiting for a response....
I wanted to welcome you to the Heroes community, and I'm sorry to hear about your Storyline file. Alexandros is correct, as there is no way to take the published output and "back it out" into a Storyline file.
