Pass quiz interactions for course tracked using # of slides viewed

Jan 03, 2014

I'm hoping someone can help. I have checked the forum and can't seem to find a solution.

I have a course (created for providing policy information) that contains 7 knowledge checks. There is no exam in this course. Since we don't rate learners on KC, we set the weight to 0.

I publish the course to track slides viewed, reporting on Complete or Incomplete status. This works perfectly tracking correcly and assigning an unknown text to Score. What it isn't doing is passing those KC interactions to the LMS.

I tried adding a results slide, which seemed to work well, passes interactions, still shows complete or incomplete, but now sets a score to 0%, rather then unknown. I prefer having the score remain as unknown or blank since this number might confuse the learners. Not to mention I can by-pass all the course content simply go to the last KC in the course, click next to view my results slide and get a complete status. (unless I lock the menu which isn't something I would prefer to do).  For this reason I prefer to use the number of slides viewed.

Is there any way to do this? Any javascript I can add to push those interactions to the LMS??
