We have built a lesson that allows users to replay certain sections if required.
After publishing and testing this feature, we realised it is no longer pausing at the cue points. It automatically continues ahead without interaction from the user.
Hello Phil. I did attach an example of the video in the discussion board. Not sure why it didn't display. Thank you for your response. I will give it a try. Someone else also suggested that.
Hello, Thank you for responding. What I am trying to achieve is that the user will run the lesson and if they so choose, they can re-run it again. It is at the latter stage that it is not pausing. I have had suggestions that I am going to try: Return to initial stage. Cheers.
Keep us posted on how it turns out! If you're still getting stuck, click here to open the discussion, then attach a sample file that includes the video. Thanks!
It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
I am rather new to the community. Is there any way that i must now mark this discussion as complete so everyone knows my issue has been resolved? Thank you for all the help and responses.

Hi Michelle!
Thanks for sharing your file with me.
When I tested it, the timeline did pause at Cue Point #1 on the first slide. Here's a Peek of my testing.
What version of Storyline are you using?
As there is no video on the slide it is difficult to test, how is the user replaying the video?
If it is clicking the button on the slide before, it may be that the slide is not set reset to initial state.
Really I would need to know how the video plays, but I would hope changing to reset to initial state on the slide properties would fix.

Hello, it worked by setting it to "return to initial state".
Yay! Thanks for keeping us updated Michelle :)

Hey Michelle,
Great question.
We typically keep all conversations 'open' in case someone else relates to the conversation and has a subsequent question.
We do have an option for 'Mark as Helpful' under the reply to indicate the solution.
