Having cue points stops the audio. Is there a way to have the audio track continue to play when the timeline pauses for cue points? I'd like to have an uninterrupted background track but the cue points pausing the timeline is stopping that. Ideas?

Hi Dan,

You can put the audio track on the base layer, and have your main timeline, with cue points, on a new layer. Show the new layer when the timeline starts on the base layer. Your pause and resume would take place only on the layer, while the base layer continues.

I did a quick and dirty example here:

I placed the audio on the base layer and placed all else on a layer above. Now when I preview I see nothing on the main layer. What am I missing? I've tried locking and unlocking visibility of the layers and I see none of the items on the layer above the base layer when I preview.

The music plays fine now but above layer not showing
