I feel like I'm just totally forgetting something with the whole linking to a file button. Once I upload the project to D2L, the path association is broken, and I can't find the linked pdfs in the story_content folder. How can I link to a pdf in a slide, have it launch in another window, and then have that pdf published along with the module created? I feel like I was doing this seamlessly before and now it's not working. Thanks.
Are you following the steps here to link to a file, that is located on your local drive? You'll also want to confirm you're publishing locally. All hyperlinked files for a course will be stored in a folder called story_content/external files. Did you not see the external files folder?
