I am trying to create a course and when I insert a shape and fill it with a photo, most times the photo become distorted. I need the shape to be the size I need the shape to be, but how can I get rid of the distortion?
I may be wrong but it sounds like you are trying to adjust the size of the shape after you've filled it with the photo? If you are filling a shape with a photo and then adjust the size (maker wider or longer) it will distort the photo.
Do you need to fill the shape with the photo? Maybe you can simply insert the photo directly and use Storyline's "crop" feature rather than resizing. When you crop a photo to the correct size, it doesn't distort the photo.
In case you're not familiar with the crop tool, you select the photo you inserted, and from the Picture Tools menu, select "Crop." See the attached screenshot. The Crop tool will not appear if you've filled a shape with a photo, because your photo is now a shape.
