I am recording in Storyline on a PC at work. Upon previewing, playback after publishing, or any other time, the audio sounds slightly like Alvin and the Chipmunks. I am not having issues with any other recording software on this same PC. I cannot find any settings in Storyline or in these forums here that would help eradicate this issue. Help!?!
I guess I didn't quite make my point clear. Sorry. How about this:
I am using screen record. After I am finished, I try to view/listen to the audio/video I just recorded. The video runs quite smoothly with the keystrokes or mouse movement, but this is where the audio is garbled. It plays back as if it is in a compressed/fast forward mode. If I try to insert it into a slide, it sounds the same on the slide - garbled and jumbled up.
Thanks for sharing the additional information, and I'd still suggest checking into the elements I mentioned. When conducting your screen recordings you'll also have the option to select a microphone, have you tried using a different microphone option to see if the behavior persists?

Also, if it's just this one file you may want to try importing it into a new project to see if that resolves any issues with your file.
Let us know how it's behaving after checking into those two elements.
