Pre-test and Post-test Scoring

My course has a pre-test and a post-test. The pre-test is scoring correctly but the post-test, no matter what answers you get right or wrong, always retains the score of the pre-test. I have tried resetting the results of the pre-test before the start of the post-test but that makes the score 0% for the post-test (no matter the results.)
Note: I am using question banks for the pre-test and post-test and the questions are the same for both. The post-test is a duplicate of the pre-test (renamed) so that could be part of the problem.
I am using Storyline 2, Update 11.

Hard to say without seeing your file setup but are you using a separate result slide for each test? In your variables list do you have 2 sets of 4 result.x variables? Are the correct variables being referenced?

You bring up a really great point! I do have 2 sets of the 4 result.x variables but the second set is not being used at all! That is most likely my issue. I think I have been looking at this project too long and missing obvious things :) :)
