Hi, my company uses Storyline to create software simulations which are great. I have been doing an Articulate course which instructs me to develop everything in Powerpoint, then publish to Presenter. We do not have presenter. My question is, can I create the same type of things in Powerpoint - with branching etc, in Storyline? I would be very grateful for assistance.
Both products are the best in the market and, in my opinion, can truly coexist. Try them both and see where your preference is. To me Studio (includes presenter) is great if your not technical and don't ever want to be Storyline allows you to go that extra mile when needed and really grows with your expertise. I honestly don't think I could choose between either so I am using both!! Hahaha.

Hi Fiona;
Welcome to the fourm
The answer is simple, Yes you can.
SL has a feature which allows you to record a screen (where you do your software stuff..), and that use it in 4 different ways.
As a video
As Step by Step (view mode)
As Step by Step (Try Mode)
As Step by Step (Test mode)
SL will create the necessary slides for you, they are completely accessible and you can alter them as you see fit
I can go on for pages and pages of how wonderful and easy it is, but in the long run... I suggest you download the trial version and give it a spin
The community can easly help you out if you have any specific problems
Cheers
Geert
Hey Fiona, welcome!
As Geert suggests, go ahead and try Storyline (or any of our other products) free for 30 days and let us know what you think!
And you can view all of our tutorials here. Good luck!
