Prevent Slide from Moving until Text Input is Given

Thanks, Wendy - I'll give this a try and let you know how it works.

I finally had a chance to work on that slide.  I had to change one command in the sample you sent to make it work.  I changed the hidden callout trigger to be hidden when the timeline on the slide started otherwise it showed up on the initial slide.

Not so fast, got some weirdness going on.  I've got two challenge slides where students have to input material before they can move on.  The first I did yesterday and it seems to be working perfectly.  

I input the triggers into the second one today and find the callout works great, but once data is entered in the text box the slide won't go to the next slide.  Instead the callout pops back on.

I've gone over the triggers a dozen times, but maybe I'm too close to the problem.  The callout slides are 1.2 and 1.12

Slide 1.12 had the wrong variable referenced:

I adjusted this to Text Entry in the Trigger panel and it's working as expected.
