Preview mode and Timeline issues in Storyline

Hi All,
Recently I am having the following issues in Storyline. I am wondering how I can fix it?
- While "previewing" the slide or the entire project, the audio does not work in most slides. However, when I publish the course to "Review" I can see how the whole course runs and also hear the audio in each slide and then go back to fix the issues. This takes a lot of time. This has impacted my course development time to great extent. I have to get the Preview mode up and working
- The timeline increases on it's own. For example, I insert a mp4 file that is 0:39 seconds long. The timeline runs for 1650 sec. The video is playing in loop. I haven't touched any other settings. I tried all the tips from this discussion. Didn't work for me.
