I am working on a course and cannot get the preview to work. It will not preview a slide or the entire project. It was working fine and now it is not. This is true for all my courses - not just one. How do I fix this?
A bug has been identified in Adobe Flash Player 20.0.0.267 that breaks several preview features in Articulate Storyline and Articulate Studio. For example:
* You'll see a blank screen when you preview a project.
* The preview area of the player properties window is blank.
* The timeline preview feature doesn't work.
* You can't preview videos, Flash movies, or web objects.
* You can't edit videos.
* You can't import Engage interactions into Storyline courses.
That's the current workaround based on the issues associated with the Adobe Flash bug, but once we have any additional information from our team or hear back from Adobe we'll be certain to update you here.
Hi, I'm having the same issue. I followed all the steps in the link above (I have Windows 7) and I still have the problem. I'm going to pretend I have Windows 8 and try those instructions.
If you're still having difficulty after ensuring you're going through all our steps, please feel free to connect with our Support engineers and they can offer a bit more one on one guidance.
Good news! Adobe and Microsoft have fixed the Flash Player bug that broke many applications just before the new year, including Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Articulate Studio.

OK, that didn't work because the updates must be numbered differently for Windows 7. Suggestions?
Hi Alison
i have a Windows 8 and IE has flash version built in. I just had to turn off IE and could roll back versions.
I downloaded Adobe Flash player through this site as requested:
https://get.adobe.com/br/flashplayer/
After following the download steps, I restarted my PC and now it is working.

Hi all,
Adobe and Microsoft released information that Windows 7, Vista and Windows 10 have been updated.
Follow the directions in the article above for your version of Windows to install the latest update.
We're waiting for additional information in regards to Windows 8.
It seems to have healed itself overnight after following the steps yesterday. It's working now.
Thanks.
If the Windows updates automatically install the Windows 7 update was release a couple days ago, so likely it auto updated and you're all set! :-)

Here's how to install the latest Adobe/Microsoft update so you can preview your e-learning projects, edit videos, and launch CD-published courses again.
