The JavaScript does work (i.e. it prints the content of the webpage) but unfortunately it does not print the actual screen. Basically it prints a blank sheet of paper!
Is there a way in JS to take a screenshot of the video?
Unfortunately we're unable to offer support for the creation or modification of Javascript - but there are a number of community members who are Javascript gurus, so I hope that they're able to pop in and assist you here!
I'm having the same issue. the JS window.print(); that I have on a button prints a blank piece of paper when using the Flash output in Firefox and Chrome (both updated).
It does work in IE.
And it works in all 3 browsers when using the HTML5 version.
You can see here that this is not a functionality that we can provide support for. I did want to share another forum thread here that may be able to assist.
Hopefully your fellow community members will be able to chime in and assist.

Hello Richard!
You may want to test this through your intended output source, LMS or web server.
If you do not have access to these you can use
Tempshare: This is a free service provided by Articulate for testing Storyline content. Note: Uploaded files will be deleted after 10 days.
Or the SCORM cloud, which is the industry standard for testing and another free option.
Also here is some information regarding JavaScript for reference.

Per this article, it should be supported. https://www.articulate.com/support/storyline/javascript-best-practices-and-examples
