Problem with "do not autofit"

Jul 07, 2014

Hello,

I have a problem with the "do not autofit" option. I have attached an example to show you. I have a sequence of six slides, each with a "entry box". Once completed 6 slides with text, there is a summary slide with variables. I take each of the previous texts for display on the same slide. But what I ask is not to put all the text in this summary page. For each section, I just want the beginning of the text and the rest can be hidden. Because it means that it is impossible to six essays, which can be quite long, on the same slide. I adjusted the option do not autofit and wrap text and it does not seem to work. I even used the option text box to insert my variable and I also tried the option to add a rectangular shape with the variable in the text but is still skrinked.

Does anyone can help me?

Thank you.

Hi Philippe,

Since you're referencing the variable itself - which is what the user enters as a part of the text entry, all the text will be shown on the final slide and automatically will shrink to display all of it. The text box properties are in regards to what the user enters in the text entry and any text your entering while setting up the slides themselves.
